A wet departure

This photo was taken while sitting in my car waiting for our guests to vacate the cottage.

There was a bit of a mix up about their departure day, or maybe they were enjoying Edinburgh so much that they simply forgot what day it was.

Anyway, as they say "all's well that ends well" - the incoming guests arrived about 10 minutes later.

They were sent off to a nearby tea room while I got the place ready, and hopefully they're now enjoying their stay.

I could do without any more days like this one this summer! Ever-so-slightly stressful.
