ON THE RUN....

.... needed some R&R this morning so took off to the mighty Nepean River and found this guy, and the pelican (in extra) sitting on the river bouy rope.

Then they both took off, as luck would have it got a shot of both in flight, but the pelican was away from me so a "back end view", but do like it as you can still see that eye sitting there just above its left wing.

Picked this one as I liked the way its head in focus (sort of) and the tail and wings just out giving that speed feeling. And it was on the move!
