Family fun in Windermere

Higher Close near Grasmere.is a National Trust woodland area that not many people realise is open to the public by donation.
It shares the site with a YHA centre.
We heard an informative talk by Neil, who has decisions to make regarding tree preservation and the scenic views of the hills and lakes.
A tranquil woodland sanctuary well worth visiting.
