Coffee with a view

A morning with Connie.

We drove to Bewley Common to admire the view and drink coffee from a flask.

Then on to the craft cafe to continue work on the stuffed Polar Bear we are sewing.

One of the women there told us how she had won a WI baking competition by using M&S scones!! She brushed the tops with egg and popped them in the oven for a few minutes and then submitted them as her entry!!!

Clive disappeared to work in Wroclaw, Poland this morning so  I am on my own this week. He flew from Southampton via Munich. He thought Bournemouth and Southampton airports were the same place. Luckily, I corrected him just before he left at 3am this morning!
