Whitby Abbey

I spent ages faffing around with this - far too long.  It’s such an iconic image and has been done to death countless times.  I just ran out of ideas as to how to make it look different.

The extra shows the sight that greeted me when I opened the curtains of our hotel bedroom, first thing this morning.

We left Scarborough after breakfast and drove up to Robin Hood’s Bay; rather than go down into the village, we walked for a couple of hours along the cliff tops following the Cleveland Way.  Wonderful.

We spent the afternoon at Whitby Abbey before finding our B&B.
