Driving home tonight after an exceptionally busy day it was just so lovely to see the swathes of daffodils that have been planted around town - especially in the Meadows and at the roadside in Craigmillar.

It got me thinking about all the hard work council ground and maintenance crews must have put in - maybe even some years ago - to create something so fabulous. Felt so grateful to them - their hard work brightens the day and signals spring for everyone who sees them.
