Yorkshire pride.

I had the great pleasure this evening to attend a meeting of the village WI where the speakers were three of the THE original Calendar Girls. They are from l to r: Miss November - the reluctant one; Miss September and Miss February the one whose husband's illness sparked the making of the calendar.

I have seen a different three before (except Anglela Baker on the right here) as they attended our village players production of the play 'Calendar Girls' a couple of years ago.

They were thoroughly entertaining and have had some amazing experiences since launching there phenomenal calendar in 1998. They have also raise more than £5,000,000 for Leukaemia research.

Certainly something for Yorkshire to be proud of.
