Geese amidst the daisies

Having not slept very well, I was thinking of skipping walking with the walking group this morning, but having finally dragged myself out of bed, and seeing what a beautiful morning it was, I changed my mind. I say it was a beautiful morning, but it was quite cool - it had got down to 1C overnight, and when I went out to the car, I could tell there had been frost on the windscreen. There were seven of us this morning, and we started from near the War Memorial in Fontainebleau. It was a beautiful walk, with the fresh green of Spring leaves, and good views through the trees.
I was home this afternoon and late in the afternoon enjoyed a nice long Skype conversation with Laura in Bucharest. I'm getting excited to see her and our older daughter, Jen, when we all meet up next week in Romania!
When Roger came home we went out for a walk along the river to enjoy the lovely evening, where we came across these geese also enjoying the sunshine!
