Sam-I-am

Sam's probably our most enthusiastic volunteer at the surplus food cafe. He's is his last year at school and comes one day a week for work experience. He's meticulous and pains-taking at peeling and chopping vegetables but what he enjoys most is sorting,  weighing  and recording the incoming produce. (It helps that he absolutely loves food.) Sometimes he can be heard chatting away on his own and when asked what's up he'll say he's just talking to a cabbage or a carrot.
Sam has a great sense of humour and when I asked him if I could take his picture he immediately struck this pose. I'll miss him when his weekly visits come to an end when the school year finishes.
