Familiar

I was thinking today as I walked this so familiar route that it is a challenge sometimes to see a familiar scene or place or person in a fresh way. I bet that is the challenge to all of us who practice this daily photo for more than a year!

I do love this sense of our Lake Union basin opening through the Ship Canal to Puget Sound and on out to the great Pacific! The old Fremont Bridge is up, the one I ride my bike over every day to and from Ballard which is out where the far white buildings are located. You can see the Sound, and then Bainbridge Island in the distance.
