Treasures #2

My garden threw up some more surprises for me today.

A little blob of lichen on the branch of the feijoa tree.

A leaf skeleton, nestled among the decaying leaf matter.

All of which look so beautiful in their own way, and with their robes of colour amongst the grey of winter.

I'm so tired today. It's been a busy week and I've not been sleeping too well.

I have broken my wine famine, with a glass of a rather good Sav Merlot. Am going to spend the evening in my room with my dog and a few episodes of Cold Feet on DVD.
