Gordons Bay

We stayed overnight in Sydney and this morning went across the harbour to Coogee where John's cousin and his wife are holidaying from Geneva.
We took the coastal walk via Gordons Bay to nearby Clovelly and enjoyed a seafood lunch in a lovely little café overlooking the water.
Unlike many city eateries we could actually hear each other. I hate places so noisy you can't hold a proper conversation.
And after a brief morning shower the weather was perfect

Then we picked up Elizabeth, Hugh and Adelaide and brought them to the mountains for a couple of nights.
Dinner was distinctly down market from lunch - McDonalds :-(
But at least we knew they would enjoy it and we can't complain. I doubt John and I have made a dozen visits to McD between us ever.
