Fritillaria

A lovely sunny, day.

My granddaughter has been with us in order that we might help her study towards submitting her Final Essay at the end of her Third Year Nursing Degree. It has been a challenge for her but we were pleased to help type and edit what she produced. It was sent off this morning! In order to celebrate, she is taking us to see the new 'Jungle Book' film this afternoon.

I just had time to take some photos in the garden and was attracted to this Alpine plant 'Fritillaria'. It looks rather like an old fashioned floor lampshade but beautiful and delicate nonetheless.
