Waiting

I should have asked for a courtesy car, really, when they said they'd need my car for most of the day. But then I thought that it would be an opportunity to sit somewhere quiet and do a few work related chores that have been hanging around for a while, which I did. 

The car industry is a weird old beast. I read somewhere that nearly ninety percent of its costs are advertising, which would explain the amazing adverts, numerous billboards and magazine ads. I got talking to the finance director while I was waiting and this showroom has just been refurbished to the tune of two million pounds! On balance, I'm glad I hung around to enjoy it.
