Cherry blossom time

Listening to the radio this morning on the way to work, Chris Evans was asking where the sun was. It was here, in Northumberland, all day! A little bit warmer than of late, but still quite chilly in the wind..

Very pleasant for our late-afternoon walk on on the Common - couldn't resist a shot of this cherry blossom in the sunshine.

The extras are for GodsCreation - MrM spotted this red squirrel in a tree as we were driving away from the Common. The photos were taken from the car and the squirrel was a long way away...
