So long, farewell

After a month in bonnie Scotland I'm back home in London. I loved every part of my holiday but I must admit I've missed London. I've not been into my garden but just walking up the path to my door I noticed I've missed the lovely blossom on my plum trees

Nothing comes without a price and I'd say it was worth missing out on the blossom. Just before I left Deeside for my sister's and onwards to the airport, we drove from Crathie to Aboyne and the scenery was stupendous. My cousin took me on the route south of the river as we headed to Aberdeen and I had forgotten just how beautiful that part of the country is.

I left with a heavy heart but I was delighted to be back home
