Always on the lookout.......

The family of swans from the moat no longer fit onto their nest, so they now sleep overnight on the pavement next to the carpark close to the main entrance of the fort.
Knowing that there are quite a lot of foxes locally i was wondering if they'd be a threat to the swans.

The eight cygnets and the other adult are just out of this shot to the left, this swan wasn't overly bothered by my presence but did keep an eye on me as i moved around taking photo's. I doubt a fox would get anywhere near the cygnets.......
