I didn't need a 400 mile round trip for a blip today, but I got some spectacular scenery just half an hour up the motorway in Perth.

This is Kinnoull Tower, which looks down on the Friarton Bridge. There's a very pleasant woodland walk to get here (although it is very steep....and dangerous). It looks like it's jumped straight from the pages of a Brothers Grimm fairy tale.
Great weather for another day off, my wife's list of chores for me to do is not getting much attention

It's worth checking out local blippers....just don't forget your crampons and oxygen tank.
