Highs and lows

Went for the most beautiful run at lunchtime. Finally starting to discover some of this gorgeous Cheshire countryside we have around us. Took this picture on my travels.

Trying to have a better week this week. Got myself organised and have been trying to ensure I'm not as stressed. It seems to be working so far. Also prioritised seeing Squidge when I can knowing that I will be out with work on other nights. We had a BBQ tea last night which she thought was amazing on a week night!

And in the best news, we got into our chosen primary school for September, as did her bestie Grace. Relief all round as it was kind of the reason we moved here!

And in a bizarre twist of fate, we have booked a week away with the in laws at the end of June to Menorca and it is exactly the same week (and flights) as Grace's family. Which means happy kids, happy men (The Euros are on!) and happy me and Grace's Mum (we might wangle a night out too!)

Bad news about my little sister though, what we thought was a nasty cold and chest infection has turned out to be pneumonia!!! The poor thing has worked herself into the ground after going back to work from maternity. Two weeks off work and a very worried family rallying round her.
