Signs of Spring.

There are many lovely signs of spring around Big Hill right now, the robins have been visiting us, the purple and gold finches are back at the feeders.....the sweet little crocus and snowdrops are up and looking pretty.  But by far my most favorite sign of spring in the return of the open water in the ponds, and the reflections this brings.
Here's is an old blip of this time of year - this is more often what it's like end of April beginning May.  Happy to see the ice gone earlier!

It's a beautiful sunny spring day, i'm hoping the studio is being heated by solar power as do other stuff in the house.   Went for a lovely walk this morning!  

Still having trouble sleeping....3 nights in a row now of very disturbed sleep....gonna try hot milk and honey tonight!
