Picture Perfect

Like this cloudless sky
(so blue!)
I look too good
to be true.

I feel
I don’t look real
so it makes sense
to doubt my existence.

But make no mistake,
I’m not a fake
so don’t start
thinking I’m digital art.

I am true. I’m as true
as my (hidden from view)
imperfection - the one leg I stand upon.
I did prefer it when I had two

but such is life.
(The life I hang on to).
Real life, as you would expect,
is far from perfect.
