Peace

This is a picture that I have taken during the winter in our house in Sile. The house was cold, and we were really tired, so my mom made us some coffees and brought some snacks, including a lot of chocolate, and my dad lit up the chimney while she was doing all this. We got our blankets, opened some relaxing music, and chatted and chatted, then Nunu also came, as she was also cold and tired, and she lied down beside me and slept. We were spending time all together as a family, and I felt really well, so I decided to seal the moment by taking a photo.

This picture is meaningful for me, as it reminds me of a great night that I have spent with my family. Other than making me recall the memories about that night, this picture also makes me feel safe and relaxed. Everytime I look at it, I feel cozy and I think about silence and peace. It is interesting how some images can trigger our senses and make us think about beautiful things or make us forget our problems (only for a few seconds). All of these reasons combined gives the answer to why I really love this picture.
