Scammonden Water

This was taken first thing about 8am and the light was just beautiful;  the birds were singing  loudly and it was such a fabulous time of day to be out.  Another woman was out with her dogs and camera, but whereas I was thinking about landscapes, she was looking for birds and wildlife.  Scammonden isn't somewhere I've ever thought about wild life as it's rather high up and a bit barren, but after hearing a late dawn chorus I think I'll have to revise that idea.
