Visit to Birdland

Glorious day for a trip to Birdland. Spoiled for blips but I couldn't resist showing the wingspan of the heron as it flew over us this morning. In extras you can see that the White Naped Crane has laid eggs in its nest. Mama was on the nest to start with then did a bit of tidying, walked down the river to Pops, squawked loudly at him and he came up to the nest to do his turn......well that's what we thought was going on anyway!
