The Velodrome

Enjoying a day in the sunshine we travelled across London to Stratford and the impressive Olympic Park.
Firstly we took the lift up to the viewing gallery at the top of the spectacular Orbit sculpture to enjoy wide ranging views of London and beyond as shown in the Extras. A Helter Skelter is at present being built around the structure which should be an exhilarating ride
With very few people around we were able to see inside many of the  Olympic venues including the impressive swimming arena and my favourite The Velodrome where Sir Bradley Wiggins and the British cyclists have had so much success. To be amongst the spectators at these events must have been quite something.
