Public Artwork
If there is one piece of public artwork Milton Keynes is famed for, it will be the concrete cows.
For those not aware of their phenomenon, they were originated in 1978 by an artist called Liz Leyh. Since then they have moved home, been kidnapped and held ransom, redecorated, and vandalised (beheaded) to the point of needing the artist to oversee the repairs.
I now drive past these every day, and it seemed like a very worthwhile blip, especially on such a lovely day too.
