spoilt for choice...

What a stunning day! I went out at around 6am and gave myself an hour before heading to work. Curlew, little owls, hares, lapwing, snipe, grouse, meadow pipits, wheatear and so on.....

Then work...

Then a walk & a drive. The walk was round a localish reservoir and I was delighted to spot 2 great crested grebes.... Even more delighted when they started to display - wrong place for pics, into the sun and all that but they were quite close which was a delight!

So which one for the blip? I went for the grebes because maybe I blip them less than the other 2. But, the other 2 are in the extras... curlew 'just after', and one of the lovely little owls :)
