Splendid Jackdaw

Jackdaw looking rather splendid in its full courting plumage.
   Not sure if it was just hungry or whether it has young? But it was certainly scoffing back the peanuts from the feeder,like there was no tomorrow.
  It was also keeping and eye on mt too!
Handsome birds though?
