A New Found Friend

   When Mary and I were at Cedar Lakes Gardens, a beautiful pink bird that is 45 years old, reached out to Mary, as seen in the extras.  This bird cooed at her and fluffed her wings.  The attendants said that the bird was very friendly and that it was ok to handle her.
   The bird walked up Mary's arm and then nibble don her shoulder, her ear and her fingers.  The bird cooed and made friends with all of us.  When Mary reached back to the cage and the wooden bar, the bird walked back in and gave a swoosh with her her feathers.  It is the closest I have ever been to a parrot.
