Today was hot and sunny, we woke up early and cycled down to Musette (a cycling cafe in downtown), to watch the end of the Tour de France stage and catch up with friends.
As Andy went to work I cycled around the seawall, on the road this time which has a few more hills. This view is from the top of a hill looking towards Grouse Mountain with the Lionsgate Bridge on the right. Vancouver seems very populated, especially on a sunny day and with the arrival of cruise ships into the harbour. It is strange to think that just over these mountains are vast stretches of empty land, more mountains and lakes. In Canada the land density is just 9 people per square mile. In Britain it's 650.
