Spring?

Nobody told the temperature yet. But it is bright & sunny.

I was, once again amazed today by the English' inability to think for themselves. If there is not a box which they can tick they won't act. At work a group of people much make a telephone call as a step in a long standing process. The people who must make the call, know they have to do it, what they much do, why they must do it and what info is needed, or at least where to get it. To assist them someone else (me) send an e-mail to each individual every day with the data relevant to her/him, spelling out on which accounts the telephone calls must be made. I realised in the past that if the e-mails are not send, they do not make the calls. Today I was told off for not spelling out in the e-mail what they must do, ie make the call, because if the e-mail doesn't say "make a call" they won't make the call. I don't get it.
