Today's Entertainment.....

.....was a brief confrontation between this heron and Rudolph the Canada goose.  It was nearly impossible to tell what started the ruckus but apparently Rudolph said something the heron didn't like and after a lot of squawking by both parties, the heron got disgusted and left.   I'm speculating that he got too close to Margo and her eggs somewhere on the opposite bank of the stream from my place but I couldn't see any evidence of her or the kids-to-be so I really don't know.  I hope everything is okay.  I gave Rudolph part of a leftover lemon scone (homemade) which he thoroughly enjoyed.
