Water in and out!

Stopped and took this picture of the rowing lake on the way to school this morning. I had hoped the rowers would be out but they had just finished and were getting off the lake.

Today was a very emotional day at school, it was the year 6 (11 year olds) last day. They performed a lovely assembly and then pretty much all burst into tears. The headteacher gave each one a present and a card containing a personal message, and gave each sobbing child a hug. There wasn't a dry eye among them and all the staff. Even the rest of the school started to get upset! How do you cope with so many crying children? - Extra playtime and a table tennis match between 2 very competitive teachers soon did the trick.

Its Friday, early payday and now on 6 weeks holiday - shall celebrate tonight!!
