Thank you Vicky!

We had some orienteering folks staying in our house over the Easter Weekend whilst we were away in New Zealand.  We asked for a tacky magnet in return but Vicky and her son sent us something with which to treat ourselves, so today we drove to RHS Harlow Carr and had lunch at Betty's, always a treat.

Tony had the quiche lorraine and salad whilst I had the lettuce, pea and mint soup with my favourite cheese roll.  To follow it was vanilla slice for Tony and this exceedingly yummy raspberry macaroon for me!  We had a wander around the garden centre then picked up some bird food from the Blue Barn and looked for sweet potato plants at the Otley garden centre (to no avail) before coming home and spending the remainder of the afternoon in allotment and garden.  A perfect day!
