"Artwork" abstract - three colours, many shades

Walking to today's meeting (I had parked some distance away to get some exercise), I noticed the toblerone shaped structure which sits in the middle of Spinningfields, near the Lawn Club. I think it is an artwork, although I'm not sure what is meant to convey/mean. It was moved earlier in the year to its new position, which is close to the big new office block going up besides Quay Street.

But you can walk through it, and to my eyes it does make quite a nice abstract image, with some interesting reflections, although you can also see reality outside if you concentrate. I would claim there are basically three colours here - although lots of shades. But I might be stretching it :)
