Britannia
A lovely day in Edinburgh. I was in the city centre for a meeting and it was unusual to see Princes St Gardens full of people sunbathing while the daffodils under the Castle were still in bloom. And other people who has misjudged the weather in a rake and (in one case) a scarf. The extra is a view of the shopping centre with the castle in the background.
Back home in time to turn around and head out to Leith to see the fireworks to mark the Queen's 90th birthday. It was more by accident that I discovered they were on. It was a very good display, watched by a small group of us. I'd expected to see more people but at least I was able to lean up against the wire fence to poke the camera through.
