Didn't seem to be the right kind of light to take photos of herons but I did my best with it. 

Yesterday, I sent some of my photos and a press release to the local paper and got in both the Lancashire Evening Post and the Blackpool Gazette. Pleased about that because we are fighting a cause. Fighting with cakes. Hee hee. It is, though,  a little more serious than that because we have asked the councillors to reply to us and also to write to the communities secretary.
