Wheatear

The fine weather tempted us into a day out in the hills of Stirlingshire and Perthshire. Apart from the scenery, we were rewarded with lots of Wheatears, Meadow Pipits and even a Red Grouse. The Wheatear isn't a common sight for us, and looked so crisp in the sunlight.
The grouse is a first for us since we took up birdwatching and my best effort is an extra, but I couldn't get a clear shot - there always seemed to be vegetation in the way!
