Le kir de bienvenue

I did three hours' work before joining the holidaymakers on the beach at Le Grau d'Agde for a quick dip, and it was a quick dip because the water is still a bit chilly for me at 21° C. Lunch then at a table by the sea and a very good-value summer special menu du jour - 12.90 euros for a kir de bienvenue, three courses and wine. I had salad niçoise followed by grilled andouillette (tripe sausage), a real treat for me since we don't have andouillette very often at home because LoJ's not so keen on it.
