Purple

When I first heard today that Prince had died, I thought it was just a social media joke.  Realized later it was not, of course.  Minneapolis is where Prince was born, raised, and died. Anything that can be, is lit up in purple tonight.  The streets around 1st Avenue, the club where Purple Rain was filmed, are shut down and packed with people.  1st Ave will be open all night, playing Prince's music.  Hopefully within the next few days I will be able to get a photo of the memorials left at Paisley Park, his home here in Minnesota.
