A room with a view!

We landed in Dubai at “silly o’clock” after a 7hr flight from Gatwick. Breakfast wasn’t served and we had a long wait for cases, coaches and our room which left me feeling decidedly wobbly. Lack of food, fluids and post ‘flu fatigue didn’t look promising!!

The view from the bath out of the 13th floor window is fairly spectacular to say the least!! We are staying at the Address, in the Marina area is very “posh”. It links to a Mall so we wandered out to sight see and find food.

The waterside area was busy with families, children on bikes and other forms of peddled transport. Lots to see and do.

Food and fluids later (beer in the hotel) we were feeling more refreshed and had an early night ready for tomorrows activities.
