5 years on

Can't believe it's been 5 years (and a bit) already. Who knew someone so tiny, who I hadn't even had the chance to meet, could flip my life upside down? For every year that goes by, it's a little easier to feel at peace with the direction my life has taken. It's funny though, time doesn't seem to affect memories in the same way.

I am thankful everyday for the children I have. I am thankful for my husband who has chosen to stick by my side; through good times and bad, sickness and health. And I'm thankful for fantails who flit in and out of my life, making me feel (if only for a moment) that we are all together like how it was supposed to be.
