In the pool

It's been hazy today and very hot and humid, very uncomfortably hot and humid. 36 maybe 37 degrees. Olivia wasn't happy when her mum went to work and even less happy when she came back for her forgotten i-phone.

We spent the morning doing distraction activities, drawing, playing games, reading and watching 'Peppa Pig'. Hurray for the pig!

After more salad for lunch she rested and slept and watched a Ghibli film. I worked up even more of a sweat hanging out washing, sorting the recycling and taking it down to the ground floor. Oh and emptying and filling the dishwasher. #1 son was working in the bedroom, I think.

I also managed to do some cross stitch, sitting on the balcony. Then to the pool to cool off. Lovely!

#1 son is there now, perfecting his breast stroke ( on the right). We're waiting for pizza. Friday night! Unfortunately no beer.
