Copenhagen and Me.

Meanwhile, in the art department.

If you think of your art dept. at work I expect you'll think of a geek with an iMac or some hippies with paint brushes (I'm thinking schools here...sorry). Our art dept. is a little different, they transport fine art. So, trying not to trip over the Gogan or the next exhibit at the national gallery, I wanted a picture of these statues by Herman Wilhelm Bissen (1798-1868) (although I'll have to double check on Monday). This chaos of disassembled bodies wrapped in bin liners and moving rugs was rescued from a barn where they have been, pretty much, exposed to the elements for some time. Now they are laid out in our warehouse awaiting their fate.

I thought this made a bit of theatrical scene; I see an executioner, a priest and a few bodies but then again it's been a long week.

Good weekend all.
