Bird Fight

We have many species of wild birds in the garden; at the moment we have thirteen goldfinches that can be feeding at the same time. 

Normally the different birds share the feeders but this morning the goldfinches seem to be fighting off other birds that dare to come anywhere near the feeding stations; I guess they are desparate to get as much food as possible in readiness for their young to arrive.
