The Astana

I will be in Kuching for a further couple of weeks, so I might as well share some history of the place.

The Astana or Palace, formerly the Government House built in 1870s by Charles Brooke (2nd White Rajahs), as a Bridal Gift to his wife Ranee Margaret Alice Lilli De Windt. Today, this is the official State Chief Minister's office.
