Niemeyer centre, Aviles

A little while ago, the port town of Aviles decided after seeing the tremendous success of their neighbours along the coast Bilbao and their Guggenheim experiment they wanted one of their own.

This is part of their experiment, the Niemeyer centre designed unsurprisingly given the name by the architect of Brasilia.

Lets just say it has not been a tremendous success with large bits of it closed. We did have a bit of cloud this morning and it looked rather nice against it but somehow it just lacks a sense of style and purpose really
