Tired
This has been the longest week ever and I'm fading fast!
I've just used every last ounce of energy I have to cook a giant vat of spaghetti bolognaise, and lamb with fancy French peas (peas and little gem lettuces cooked in chicken stock and butter). The lamb is for dinner and the spag bol is for the freezer. If I can find room!
Today has mostly been spent doing the school run, going to a friend's house for two hours of chaotic fun and squabbles with six toddlers and pre-schoolers, swimming and cooking. All interspersed with golf watching and guilt about watching golf instead of doing any housework.
It's 8pm and it feels like Midnight. I'm getting old!!!!
