Bluebells on Main Street.
A walk around the village this morning provided lots to see and take photographs of. The duck pond was my destination but all the newborns were hiding today, l've been told we have fifteen newcomers so will return later.
A variety of flags were in evidence dotted along MainStreet: Union Jacks, St Georges and The Yorkshire Rose, celebrating the Queens recent birthday, St Georges Day and the Tour de Yorkshire Cycle race due to be held around here next weekend.
As l passed one of the churchyards l saw some Spanish bluebells and even though l prefer the English variety they looked really pretty in the semi shade.
For all who kindly asked about Mr P's ongoing saga with his fingers ( Dupytrons Syndrome in all eight fingers) the news is good and he can have further treatment, thus avoiding a general anesthetic.
As this is a trial we can never be sure how long this will be an option.
He's just got in from his early morning run on the moor and we are now set to paint the shed, having got it the tidiest l've ever seen it on Thurday!
We were due to go camping this weekend as Mr P and Tim were in a cycling event in the Peak District but the hospital visit and car trouble for our son has put a stop to that. It's a cold but brilliantly sunny day so l'm in two minds about if l'm pleased to be not going.
Hope you all have a great Saturday!
