Out the gap..

is an expression you may or may not be familiar with. Round here it means when you're finished finally, you've got sorted and you're off. Today was that kind of day for us, a heart-warming, reaffirming kind of day. Our local  Island to Island charity which we are involved with was in the final stages of a truck run to Greece. Carmel the woman who started it all went out in February with over €20,000 raised locally to help things on the ground. This time through local donations of everything from nappies, to a motorised wheelchair we had enough to fill two 40 foot trucks, which left for the Greek-Macedonian border this afternoon, after a big community effort.
